need a mod that shows biomes from start.

 I'm annoyed at the moment.. contract "go to X biome and gather science" Except there's no way to tell where the biome is.. Is there a mod that has the Mechjeb (landing target) capabilities of showing a biome when you mouse over it in map view?  >.< Granted I can get a rough idea.. Just be simpler with a label..   (Edit) 3 hours, and no reply..  how is this not a thing?

Just know mods where you have to scan the planet first. I also think it's possible in Stock to show biomes. I think it works the same as showing ore.

Colours are horrible but you know exactly what is where.

Is that a stock contract? I've never seen it, but I've not played career for a while.

You can hit Alt-F12 and turn on biome overlays in map view. It's not perfect (It won't tell you what biome is what, just where they are) but it's pretty logical. 90% of the biomes are logical. Tundra is non-icecap white. Shores is shores. Etc. You may need to hunt a little but as you get each one, at least you'll know where they are.

Also, you could check http://kerbalmaps.com and turn on the biome overlay.

Thanks for your help guys, that works fine. I have a basic idea where the biomes are, just hate when i think I'm going to land on "midlands" and it ends up being "highlands" then, I'm out of fuel, and I have to walk 10 minutes because the edge of the biome is miles away lol.
