A parts test contract showed up--SRB at the pad.  Three tries, it lawn-darted every time.  I couldn't get it to turn enough to avoid this.  The fourth time I didn't correct the staging error, I let the chute deploy on the pad.  Instead of going to space it pinwheeled above the pad (try it--it's dramatic) and ended up landing *on* the launch pad for 100% recovery.  Contract fulfilled.

Nice . Tip for next time: you can drain the fuel from the SRB in the VAB and it still counts when you stage it .
