non-connected struts.

Hi gang, TP here.

 

A quick question, have you ever noticed the amount of non-connected struts?

I keep finding myself scouring the sides of my rockets, trying to pry 1-2 more parts away from my total part count.

Maybe it is just me (as a part-manic, sue me) or maybe its a common thing?

In addition to the issue Temeter stated, to reduce part count, I ALWAYS strut FROM removable parts, TO the base craft.

ie attach struts to booster, then stretch them to the main craft... That way, when those assemblies drop, the strut goes with them, and doesnt leave the "stub" on your crafts...

Now, if we could just get the radial decouplers to mount this way... (There IS a radial separator part that NovaSilisko made along time ago, and still works in all KPS versions (at least up to current 1.0.5), floating around the web...)
