As the topic states, how can i add files to these posts for bug/crash reporting purposes? (if its even possible).

You generally don't-- rather, find some 3rd party file-hosting site, put it there, and include a link.

Unless you're actually reporting a bug using Squad's bug tracker (after reading the bug reporting guidelines, of course) rather than making a forum post, in which case the bugtracker UI there lets you attach files directly to the bug.

Also, moving thread to Kerbal Network, since it's about the forum itself.

As @Snark stated, you don't have the ability to attach files directly.  This was actually a feature which was intentionally turned off on the forum software, because, to quote on of the forum migration threads:

Quote

We don't have petabytes of storage space

Disclaimer: that is not a direct quote because I'm too lazy to find the exact quote.  It's as close as I can remember, though.

Ahhh.. THAT's why there is still an option for it in the posting but it doesnt work.

Gotcha. I just didnt want to create a file sharing account on a site, just to post a bug report or two. Ill start using the tracker.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
