Request for Model CrossFire Fusion Reactor

Recommended Posts

For KSPI I need another model, this time I want to add a CrossFire Fusion Reactor

The Advantage of this engine it the engine are high efficient power production with high Q value, making it possible to used advanced fusion fuels like p-B fusion much sooner than possible in Magnetic Inertial Confinement. It will be ideal for Interplanetary/intersteelar Electric Propulsion and the amount of wasteheat is minimised with this design.

Here are some vids

This is some interesting stuff. Here is what I've got so far:

Texture is not done yet but it gives a conception what I'm going for.

Whoha, this sure looks promissing. THe texture looks quite good already

Alright, I adjusted my initial plan to create a Crossfure fusion model. Instead It will be a Tri Alpha  Colliding Beam Fusion Reactor  . This reactor is actualy more feasible than the crossfire reactor which only relies on magnetic static confinemet to achieve inertial confinement fusion. THe CBFR Fusion engine will be limited to Aneutronic fusion modes, starting with p-B11 fusion with Advanced Fusion (instead of exotic fusion).
