For when KSP in multiple languages?

As the title says, it would be nice to have KSP in multiple languages.
For people who do not speak french (like me) were difficult to set the settings, to understanding the scenarios etc...

This will attract more people to buy KSP, I think.

I think it it will not be too difficult to achieve.

What French do you mean? AFAIK KSP is officially available in English only. And isn't it interesting to learn other language than your native? KSP isn't a game with tons of texts so you need to open google translate just once to remeber the meaning of a word you don't understand. And knowledge of English will be useful for you anyway. If you are too lazy still there's a project that contains different localizations

Hello Ser,

I'm 16 years old and I learn English in school. As you may have noticed I'm not hard to spoken English but I try. As I said well I think, when I'm in the settings I do not understand much and google translation is not perfect because these are terms not used much.

And I think everybody did not necessarily want to aprendre English.

If one day you find a very awesome game, and this game will be in a language that you still do not control not good enough and therefore you will not be able to configure it as you want then it is very important to be played, you'll think of me

I believe he meant to say that he doesn't speak English, he speaks French; and made a mistake writing that. Very easy to do when you're struggling with a language; don't hold it against him.

@adjudantloic, don't feel too bad about having trouble with the language. A technical subject like this is hard enough to understand by English users already. But we should all continue to demand better localization support for that exact reason -  it's hard enough as-is, without language getting in the way.

Squad, of all companies, should have thought of this at first; what with being in Mexico City (Spanish!) and all.

This should never happen. And won't, in KSP's case; Squad use Steam for distribition only, and language options should be in the settings rather than part of the build.

Hahahaha it's true  But I repeat again, everyone has perhaps not necessarily the time to learn five languages simultaneously ksp especially as settings is the advanced English. At school i learn Dutch and English at home I studied a little Italian, I do not have time and want to spent 100% of my free time studying the french 100. Capito? ^^ Well in short it is anyway not the topic of conversation!

I think the purpose of such a thing is to bring the game to the one who don't speak english, or just want to play in their native language.

The translation (I think) may just take a short time if assigned to the community because everyone can translate a bit text in his own native language and some experienced tester can easily report false traductions and correct them. 

But it can just take place if Squad ensure to the community to integrate its own translation work to the game, and provide the files and support to oversee the progress of the work.

It's up to you Squad

PS : You noticed that the game is a good english learning source nevertheless, from a young french student

It's true! I must admit I really did take a lot of things. But there is a time when Google translation can not do anything, the French patch are no longer compatible for some versions ...

@iDInkeD06 Et puis je vois que tu es français ^^ Ce serait cool si tu pourrais me traduire 2 ou 3 trucks dans les settings, pourrais-je t'envoyé un mp?

You can configure Steam to use the language you want, it is not that hard.

@adjudantloic I've seen too many French refusing to learn or speak the main business and internet language while they can, to not be interested in this topic. tl:dr.  je m'excuse ^^ The Spanish are different, they are willing but got left behind by a dictator 40-45 years ago.

No I dont, you do fine here.. keep it up and dont use a French translation.    /edit..  You're from Belgium btw,  my neighbour, how are you?  old enough to drink a La Chouffe with me ? ^^  Or do we have a Language issue when we do?

Actually, to be able to download soft in the preferred language it wants me to contact its support for some reasonable confirmation or stuff like that. But this is obviously for the Steam discussion thread.
