Can you make game to be able to run as game that it's goes to separate shadowplay folder

Recommended Posts

I want create my own mini series "From Kerbin to The Mun" i even selected good soundtrack that i can stea.. oh i mean borrow

just little increase sound pith and would be very Kerbalish :)

I use NVIDIA ShadowPlay

The point it's all my Gameplay videos goes to generalized folder called "desktop" all my other game generally goes to "dedicated" folder, except KSP and several other that i can count on one hand.

Is SQUAD moved to new Unity engine maybe they also can make that KSP gamplay videos land in KSP dedicated folder :D

I have very much free time to play my beloved KSP only now until June when i should graduate from my University :D

I don't know much about Shadowplay but if you're not totally stuck on using it you could always try Open Broadcaster Software .. It's free to use and works brilliantly

You can even save the video files that it creates to anywhere on your PC

Just put 'Open Broadcaster Software' into any search engine and you'll find it ... Like I said, it's free and works great

Shadowplay behaves better on locked-down PCs, so I can see Pawelk wanting to use it compared to other recorders. I use it myself, and I use a non-admin account, UAC, SRP, DEP and a bunch of other safeties.

Give me a few hours to head home and try to solve this. If I'm reading this right, did you just want to have KSP recordings go into their own folder besides 'Desktop?' Maybe this only happens when you have desktop recording enabled; try disabling desktop recording in Shadowplay.

After investigating this, it appears Shadowplay can't record KSP play unless desktop recording is enabled. Does this make KSP, or Unity 5 in general, a desktop application that happens to support taking the full screen? Who knows. But this seems like a comparably small obstacle to making your own video series from its recordings.
