EDIT: Mod used for engine exhaust is Real Plume. It's a really cool mod that changes the stock engine exhaust to make it 200% better.

You can clip into the parts, and put struts inside the wings, that way it looks less ugly with those struts!

 

Just move around in the hangar until you clip into the wing, and attach a strut to the piece you need, and then attach it to the other after moving your camera some more.

You can also clip multiple "Panther" engines into each other for more thrust!

I actually did that in some places on this craft, but I like the look of struts connecting the wingtips (even if the RL aircraft doesn't have them). And I try to keep the part clipping to a minimum, but thanks for the suggestions!
