Waiting for RO and RP-0 to be updated to 1.1

I played a hard no save no revert and sadly found it surprisingly easy.

I am thinking of trying a remote tech/KOS play through possibly doing a hard no save/no revert.  I made it past a breaking point in 1.0.5 and duna, guilly, ike were all in range pretty easy after a minimus landing.  However thinking about landing with time delay out at duna didn't seem possible and without it seemed too easy.

I am also open to other suggestions but I have not seen any interesting challenges in a while.

Might be worth looking at Roverdude's Kolonisation mod (dunno if it's 1.1x compatable yet though), which turns it in to a very different game, focusing on logistics/resources a lot more than a standard game.

kOS is interesting if you've not tried it before, I started trying to put together a gravity turn script that would alter the throttle to maintain the path within a tolerance, but exceeded my programming skills.  I'd love to work out an automated landing script too and then crank up the delay time on RemoteTech.

Challenge yourself to build something very complex and fly a massive mission with the craft. You wont be complaining about things being too easy ever again!

I have a challenge that I have always wanted to do; try to land on the moon and return in first person only (only map view can be used for maneuver nodes)

Build some minimalistic landers, for example mission to moho and back in 18t.

Create a floating base on Laythe?

I just finished building a 100t space station around Laythe (75t dry/without the service module) to serve as a "long duration" hab for my Laythe crews. I was going to just have a land base but experimenting with the new water has given me some ideas...

Also you could make a base on Duna that could refuel planes. Or link three asteroids into a big space base. Or make a base in the canyons of the Mun (have done this, really cool place for a base) or Dres (who goes there anyway?). Have you ever had a Kerbal stand on top of a Mun arch? Lots to do, even when the game gets "easy"

Eventually I will try an Eve ascent again... haven't since the old days.

I think I'm going to try RO too once the update comes out...
