I know how to access it, its MOD+F12, but whenever I try to open it, all It says is "Aerodynamic Forces Overlay:" and then "Disabled" or "Enabled". Maybe I'm using the wrong MOD key? I have a Lenovo and I'm using FN so if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please tell me!

The Mod key is either the left Alt key on Windows or the right Shift key on linux/osx.

Or, are you saying you have rebound it to the Fn key?  If so, then I'd advise against using that as the keyboard (hardware or driver) may treat it differently...

On OSX the MODifier key is Option.

KSP key bindings.

Modifier key

Because KSP can run on different operating systems the modifier key (Mod) differs between them. In the table below, the default Mod key is mapped to the following keys (to use a different key, edit the entry in the "MODIFIER_KEY" section of the settings.cfg file):

  • Windows: Alt (e. g. Alt+L)
  • Mac OS: Option (e. g. Opt+L)
  • Linux: KSP 1.1+: Right-Shift (e. g. Right-Shift+L) Don't confuse this with Left-Shift, which will fire your engines! KSP 1.0.5 and earlier uses a different key, which can cause issues in some window managers when playing in windowed mode.

The Fn key may be required on some compact keyboards such as those found on laptops, where the Function keys are often combined with other keys to save space.

Fn itself is not rebindable as it is invisible to programs (it has no scancode of its own).

On Lenovo laptops it is possible to swap the Fn and Control keys in the bios, but this is the only means to change the Fn key.

Without knowing which Lenovo you have or which operating system I cannot give the correct key combination for the debug menu, but I expect it is Fn+LeftAlt+F12
