Then I got bored and stopped using them because they made everything too easy. 'Woo. I made it from kerbin, to the sun, landed on the mun, then landed on kerbin again with a single engine and fuel tank... this isn\'t fun at all.'

Here is a link to the excelsior rocket pack as of august 9th. Since this is not my work, I did not alter the zip file. I would load only the parts folder. The ship files won\'t work with 0.13

you could probably just change the version number in the .craft file to .13 instead of .12 unless something has changed since then

Nova this part CREATED the cultists know as the stock part only people. Its a part of KSP history :\'(

I <3 Excelsior class rocket engines.

Do they make for realistic gameplay? No.

Do they save you the trouble of launching rockets over and over while trying to learn how to do orbital maneuvers? yes.

Anyone who messes around with them will eventually get bored of them. They take away the challenge. Some days you don\'t want a challenge though. These engines are for those days, when you absolutely, positively, MUST get to the mun and back on a single engine and fuel tank.

In my opinion KSP is like Lego - you take the bricks, do whatever you want with them and have FUN. In whatever way you want to, and even you Nova can\'t dictate how others should have fun ;-)

Now, with the influx of the youngsters lately, there is little surprise that there is a demand for parts that make stuff easy. Ridiculously easy and not fun for some, but then, who is to say that our way of having fun is better / worse?

Like lego, I think KSP should at least be a learning experience. KSP vanilla isn\'t especially punishing tbh.

This was one of the first mods made for KSP. If I have to go through another Stock/Addon War I will pack up and move to the mun in my portable base.

you must be new here. People get REALLY REALLY MAD when others use 'cheat' parts, 'hack' addons, and 'not stock' parts. Why? Because apparently cheating in a single player sandbox game is the most horrible crime ever
