Which was scarier?

I was reminded of one nightmare I had a long time ago by a different thread, and that got me thinking about that heinous chomping piano. Which was scarier to you: the piano in Super Mario 64, or the manta ray in Super Mario Sunshine? I can hardly choose one or the other. Share your experiences with them here!

I haven't played Super Mario Sunshine so it's definitely the piano.

No contest, the piano is way scarier. You can totally see the mantra ray coming , I mean the tree-man literally says that. The piano is a great jump scare. Nobody was ready for that; it certainly scared me! You can also kill the ray with what it basically a high-end pressure washer, you can't kill the piano at all.

I can easily avoid manta rays, but pianos? We have one of those in the house...I just wish it would stay in the same place...
