Decided to fiddle with flying a spaceplane.

Obvious starting point: Me163. Solid booster because throttle control isn\'t Kerbal enough for an Me163.

A bit squirrely, but I have managed to land it a few times.

Siunds nice, I made an Me262 and a Gloster Meteor myself. Sadly I cant test yours now.

I tried to make a 262. That didn\'t end well. I didn\'t think to try a 163, though. That looks like fun.

The real Komets were very Kerbal. Quoth Wikipedia:

The fuel system was particularly troublesome, as leaks experienced during hard landings easily caused fires and explosions. Metal fuel lines and fittings, which failed in unpredictable ways, were used as this was the best technology available. Both fuel and oxidizer were toxic and required extreme care when loading in the aircraft, yet there were occasions when Komets exploded on the tarmac from the propellants\' hypergolic nature. The corrosive nature of the liquids, especially for the T-Stoff oxidizer, required special protective gear for the pilots.

Sorry Sleepybean2, I overlooked your post until just now. Your Sturmvogel flies better than mine did, anyway. At first I couldn\'t figure out why you had fuel lines going to nowhere. It was not until that moment that I discoverd those black-tiled shuttle parts are fuel tanks as well as fuselage pieces. :-[
