I remember reading somewhere that wheels and landing struts were similar parts of code, or something. I verified that I couldn't kick wheels or they wouldn't kick back while on EVA, so that much seems to be fixed.

Forgot to mention about wheels working better

Hi Gordon, Squad is aware of the issues with legs (and wheels) and will be addressing these as they continue to update to newer versions of Unity which will make fixes possible.

But for the time being try to keep Kerbals away from landing legs, thank you.
