Kerbal Mountaineering Association

Hello my fellow KSP players

As you all know, Kerbin has a lot of mountain ranges, scattered with even more mountains. Yet barely any of these mountains have actually received a name. It is in this topic that I want to change that. I think we should try to put a name on every single peak currently present on Kerbin. I have already taken a bit of time and flew to the very tallest mountains of Kerbin, the 6000ers. As it currently stands I've counted a total of 11 6000ers on Kerbin. Don't worry though, I've only given one of them a name, so there's plenty left for you guys. Below I shall put a list of mountains, ranging from high to low. If you want to name a peak, you have to submit: a screenshot of a flag on the peak, the height of the mountain, the name you've chosen for it and eventually the coordinates. (I shall put mine in the comments as I don't want to clog up the main post) One can submit a name for a single 6000er and as many lower mountains as you want.

The three tallest peaks shall be named by public vote, and as long as it's undecided a (?) will be behind their names. Propose names for these in the comments, the most frequent responses will be used. For now I have given them the name that gets my personal preference.

The List:

1. Mount Kraken(?), 6767m, 61°34'53"N, 313°38'28"W

2. Mount Kerebus(?), 6566m, 74°23'43"S, 377°31'48"W

3. Lansen Peak(?), 6434m, 6°35'40"S, 246°26'40"W

4. Mount Claud, 6433m, 14°26'44"S, 288°2'36"W (panzerknoef)

5. Mount Disappointment, 5928m, 10°53'14"S, 307°40'47"W (panzerknoef)

6. Tranquility Peak, 5908m, 11°59'10"S, 307°59'38"W (panzerknoef)

7. Mount K2, 5582m, 0°3'18"N, 439°20'31"W (public)

Any rules about getting there? Feels like it's a shame if people can just hyperedit there, but maybe you don't mind that.

You're right, but the only way to check this is to let ask for mission pics. And that makes this post feel more like a challenge than just a discussion
