mods for colinization

hey everyone, I have been patiently waiting for there to be a working mod that allows me to colonize other moons/planets. I used to have a couple but once the game got to V1.0  they stopped working. Does anyone know of any that work currently? thank you!

Define colonization.

Usual caveat for the USI mods (and I've been coding the colonization stuff for over two years now) is that I view it as an entirely new game - i.e. it would stand on its own with nothing but white cylinders for parts.  This is very different than other mods that are essentially parts packs.

If you want a ship landed on a planet that looks like a colony, there are tons of choices to mix and match from.  If you want something that adds colonization as an expansion to gameplay, then the USI mods above may be what you want

by colonization I mean getting either a moon base operational where I could have more astronauts stationed and need to collect mats for servival, or same sort of concept with civilians. There used to be two seperate mods that did exactly this but they both stopped working for me after the game went 1.0

Awesome so I would assume then that this means they are now working again and I can enjoy doing more then building rockets to get places haha?

As another option, you can also take a look at the Pathfinder mod, which has it's own colonization system.  (It can also be dialed back to just a parts pack, in which case you could use it with UKS.)

It works just fine with USI-LS as well.

If you just want parts, take a look at Kerbal Planetary Base Systems; lots of good parts for building bases.  (Currently they work with USI-LS, but don't integrate with either UKS or Pathfinder.  The former integration is being worked on.)

(Just wanted people to know there are options.    I enjoy RoverDude's mods, but @Angel-125 makes some good mods as well.  I run both, with the WildBlue Industries mods dialed partway back to give them some functionality, while not interfering with UKS's mechanics.)
