Hi, since some time ago I have constant crashes on KSP. Building a rocket works absolutely nice, but from lift off to land take it will crash in any moment, I can't really find a common switch that triggers the disaster.

I've tested everything from uninstall and make a fresh install of KSP to change hard drive for a new SSD and make a fresh install of everything (os, nvidia drivers, steam, ksp...). No mods installed, just a fresh and default installation.

I've tried everything I've read in the forum: lower graphics to minimum, change from full screen to windows mode, disable antivirus, launch ksp_64.exe from steam and from kerbal folder, change compatibility to windows 7... and nothing seems to work, as soon as a rocket lift off the game can crash in any moment in all two 32 and 64 bitss versions.

Now let's put some technical info on the crash.

System info:

Toshiba satellite laptop

Windows 10 home edition 64 bits

Intel core i5-4200 CPU @ 2,5GHz

4GB ram

120GB Kingston SSD with plenty space

Nvidia gforce 710M (drivers updated to last version 368.39)

Steam KSP ver. 1.1.3.1289 with no mods nor launch switches

crash dump crash.dmp

error log error.log

output log output_log.txt

I hope someone can help me, since I can't play due to constant crashes.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like your GPU decided to reset itself for some reason and Unity got upset about this.  I guess the most likely causes would be either a bug in the drivers, an overheating problem or an actual hardware fault.  Can you run any other GPU intensive games without problems?

hummm... I don't like to hear that, but it makes a lot of sense... I had to take the laptop for a repair because the graphic chip was damaged by overheating few months ago...

I've made a light test of 5 minutes playing and a basic rocket and temperatures went fast to over 80 ºC so I think you hit the nail on the head...

I will do a few more tests but I'm pretty sure that's my problem...

Thanks a lot for your time @Padishar!
