what counts as a rover?

its been trying for  few hours now, and no matter what the game counts it as either a lander, or a probe.   i cant seem to do anything that will make the game class it as a rover.   any suggestions?

You can rename any craft in the tracking station by opening its Knowledge base tab on the right edge, and clicking its name, this will let you set the type.

The type can also be set via the pod or probe action menu.

KSP on consoles will treat and vessel tagged as a rover as a rover

I think probably the only part that the game will recognize as a rover from the start is if you use the Probodobodyne Rovemate as your root part.  It doesn't really matter though, as you can change any ship to any designation using the method Sal detailed above.

All I've ever found necessary is the addition of rover wheels.

thanks ill try this later..  i wanted to try this right away but the game corrupted my save for the 3rd time..   I hope it works for the trophy as thats the only reason i cared lol
