Adding Heat effects to engine.

I\'m creating an aerial engine for a small project of mine, and I was wondering how to add the heat effects to the engine. If anyone could enlighten me on the subject, I would be most grateful.

I\'ll be selling it as a proprietary engine on the RP forum, property of Radion Industries. Of course, here, it\'ll only be a small engine that I might not even release here. It\'s all up to how it goes.
