Larger Engines

Hey guys,

 

I've been looking for some larger engines and I'm having trouble finding them. I use Realism Overhaul so I can't just resize most of the engines with TweakScale.

So I'm looking for larger engines. When I mean large, I really mean large. 20m at least. Having 64 F-1 engines just makes the game slow with so many parts and I'd just rather have less and more powerful ones.

If there's nothing out there mod-wise that fits my needs I'll design it myself, but why not check first.

Yeah, that's probably the only option that exists.

But keep in mind: with Realism Overhaul, you're restricted to RealFuels compatible engines. An engine that isn't compatible won't work (stock LFO doesn't exist in RealFuels if I recall correctly). So unless NecroBones ships a RealFuels config, you'll have to write your own.

Check out SSTU mod, it offers to have 20 engines as one part and thus increasing performance.

Also, JoseEduardo's SSTU Nova Expansion Pack adds even larger engine clusters (up to 61 engines according to the OP)
