Can I change the orbit visualisation.

An object in a circular orbit will, by default, show its orbit with a thin line in front of the object (the prediction of the future position) and a thick line projected backwards. See for instance this recently released KSP ver. 1.2 image:

I find it is confusing that the most immediate part of the projected path is the least visible.

Can I swap the orbit graph settings around to get the thick line parts as the most immediate future positions and the thinner ones the more distant future ones?

I may try this. I've sometimes had the same feeling of confusion, though I use the Kerbal Engineer mod and I can check the relative times to apoapsis and periapsis in the HUD. Having the option is one of those neat things that the KSP team does that puts them ahead of the pack.
