1.2 on MacOSX, much faster than 1.1

Just did a quick check on 1.2 on my MacBook Air and performance is much better than 1.1; faster loading times, faster transitions to and from VAB...

Now, let's wait until the mods are updated and time to start a new career game...

Performance has gone through the roof. I watched a stream where someone docked too vessels, each with like 1600 parts. He was getting 30 fps. Except when he actually docked and the game froze for like a minute to reload the now 3200 part vessel.

Actually, interestingly enough, I played it, ran it for about 30 minutes, then crashed (!). I was not doing anything part or lag heavy, just messing with some stock crafts..... Probably just my computer...

On a macbook? Seriously? Wow, as a macbook user myself, that leaves me impressed.  Must have been running in 640X480 windowed.

Seriously, I do see a measurable level of performance on my MBP, but not the "3200 part" kind of performance.

Faster loading times, not so much crashing (but still a bit), smoother play, slightly faster frame rates  - with sub 500 part vessels.

No, the 3.200 part testing was done on a custom build Windows PC, but nevertheless it was done by the same YouTuber that had big frame rate problems with a 180 part station, so the performance increase is evident.

For Everyone -- In that video, skip to 41:11 for the first launch and he explains that he has no lag with his 650 parts vessel on the Launchpad.

(Before that you have much design and introduction)
@ 54 minutes, he actually gets his first successful launch.
