Auto-struts?

Keep hearing about adding autostruts with a couple of clicks in 1.2 Beta, can anybody tell me how to do that please?

you have to check the "advanced tweakables" option in the settings of the game.

this will display the auto strut and fuel flow priority options that are hidden by default.

I don't see advanced tweakables in the settings.

They're there. Start a new game (or go into your current one), hit ESC. They're in "Gameplay," last option. Right above "UI".

NVM I found it in the main menu settings.

For a very short while longer, consoles are still on version 1.1. The global ability to autostrut came with version 1.2. So you will see it soon.

Dont know if you keep up with console development but "soon" is doubtfull. Thanks for the info though!

Hey so this guy in anoter thread said in v 1.1 you could use auto struts on landing gear know anything about that?

Autostruts are automatic on landing gear, even in 1.1, as best I can remember. In 1.1 you can attach a landing gear to another part, and the landing gear will help to stiffen the other part with it's built-in autostrut. And that's true for landing legs, too.
