I've seen people (*cough* NASA *cough*) who take about five years to get where you got in two weeks. Well done!

Thank you :D

Im really liking how its come out. Each panel is going to be a very tedious job but with time it will look awesome. It already does. Routers are amazing. I made stencils of the dash and top panel so I can make as many copies as I want. There are some weird angles that are going to be tricky but I think within the next week it should be enclosed. Hopefully

The carpet is dark blue. Hard to see in this pic. It's not cut to size yet. I am also going to make a track system for the seats so they can be adjusted. They will be 1 and 1/2 inches higher than you see in this pic. I have a little framing left to do to line up the side consoles, Then to finish the first round of panels. Then the inserts for those panels. I need to order alot more switches..haha. :P

Large pictures, and lots of 'em :D My wife would _have words_ with me if I did something like this, as my PC is in the living room, but d*mn I am envious of your setup. Neat craftsmanship as well, as far as I can tell.

Thank you. It will look alot better when its all painted and screens installed. I moved my computer from the living room to my extra bedroom but ran 50 ft. cables to the extra bedroom so it doesnt change anything. My wireless keyboard is a little laggy but tolerable. I got hurt at work last year and I'm stuck at home all day. So my wife is probably just happy to have some tv time to herself..lol

Do you prefer the smaller or larger pics?

Give us all the details! Big pics are best pics! :cool:

Hope you eventually get better. What happened?

I have a genetic disorder called ehlers-danlos syndrome. It makes my joints easily dislocate, my skin not be attached and stretchy, and a host of other awesome disfunctions. Its a collagen deficiency so there is alot in your body made out of collagen.A year and a half ago, I tore my lebrum in my shoulder carrying a ladder at work, and the workers comp system basically told me to f off because of my condition. So ya. Luckily my neighbor, his kid, and my wife have been helping me build this. Its keeping me sane. I actually started playing kerbal right after I got hurt. So, while getting hurt sucks, I'm glad I found this game.

Although, with large pics, it'd be nice if replies clipped them or spoiler them, so we don't have a mile long page of repeating pics! :P:wink:

Ya thats what i was worried about. Good idea!

I just had a minor shoulder strain... I feel for you man... but like, I don't feel THAT much! Mine's minor! Yikes, that sounds painful! ;.;
Hopefully that tear mends well enough. Shoulders are a real pain in the a... back... Yeah. That part. :rolleyes:

I noticed your fuzzy co-pilot! Glad to see a bright future as a test pilot! His primary function will be to keep the co-pilot's seat warm for the lady of the house, if she ever sits in on a Munar mission! :D

Your pics are a joy to look at, not just for the incredible progress, but for all the fun stuff™ on the walls! From flags to Axeman, to the numerous references to recreational imbibement... Both liquid and vaporeous... Good times... good times... :cool:

Glad I could entertain..:D. I actually took alot down because I didnt want people getting offended. Not that I care much but this isnt the place for that stuff and I didnt want to detract from the project.

Good to see the flag's still there though! :) Also, it looks way better with a roof! (Not that it didn't look good before.)
