Kerbal Life expecancy

Hi, how long does an average Kerbal live? Apart from Kerbonauts, who can die surprisingly soon...

Just for knowing if that trip to Eelo with 5 orbits around Kerbol once there would make the kerbonaut old or not...

You'll be fine. The cold of deep space will keep them perfectly preserved. Pop them in a microwave oven for two minutes on high and they'll be ready for flag planting.

Don't worry, Kerbals can't die. Well, at least not of natural causes, at any rate…

Unless something's changed, and I haven't been told. But when has THAT ever happened?

Kerbals should die of natural causes, they are not gods (well, maybe Jebediah...)

They are like nematodes, you can dehydrate them and store them frozen indefinitely.  On arrival just put them in warm water and stir.

More seriously though, to the original question, there are a few 'life support' mods out there if you want to add a layer of difficulty and make them a little less immortal.  I'm not aware of one for aging.

They're a bit like pet rocks; with proper care they will last forever!
