Updating to 1.2 Using Steam

I'm guessing the reason why my game isn't updating from 1.1.3 to 1.2 is because it has not yet gone live on Steam?  I'd just like to check;

I) When the update goes live with Steam automatically update my installation.

II) Are there any other methods for updating to 1.2 for a gamer who is impatient?

Hi @Clipperride, make sure you are opted out of any betas, select NONE from the list in the Steam client.

Thanks for the reply, although it was a case of an impatient gamer wanting to play on release day!
