Does any lab fulfill the contractual need for a lab on a station?

Can I use alternate laboratories from mods, or do I HAVE to use the stock lab, if my contract says the orbital station must have a laboratory?

In the past the KPBS lab was recognized by the contracts so I guess any properly modded lab should be too.

But as usual: Make a named save. Test. And find out. If it doesn't work revert and continue as if nothing happened. 'No' might not be the answer you're hoping for but you can work with it.

You don't even need to make a save. Just put the lab on the launchpad and see if it's checked off in the contract.

True. I didn't even think about that. But that doesn't chance the fact questions like this can very easily be answered just by testing it yourself.

Works! L-Tech lab is okay for 1.2 contract.
