Log spammed with 'Updating delegates'

Recommended Posts

hey,

my current carreer save on 1.2 is suffering from the expression 'Updating delegates' being spammed over and over again in the log as soon as I launch any vessel!

My log file is here. A quicksave where the spam is happening is here (Craft needs Mk2 Expansion).

I'm asking here because I want to know if anyone has encountered a similar issue before or knows what could be causing it. Neither google nor the forum search has any results for the expression 'updating delegates'
Thanks in advance!

Perhaps a bit more assistance.
I noted the following from your log:
PersistentRotation and PlanetShine has the ToolBar/Contract Configurator issue.

ExtraPlanetaryLaunchpads has issues.
KerbalEngineer has issues.
severedsolo?? has big issues.

My guess on the Updating delegates message is one of your mods is using delegate methods from the stock API. Could be the stock API is issuing this, and probably shouldn't. But it's not an error. Will investigate that further.

thanks! The issue seems to be save-specific aswell. A brand new carreer does not have any problems. I'll remove as many mods as possible to narrow the problem down.

Believe that "Updating delegates" message is not Unity or stock. It's probably a mod issueing it. Naughty mod, should identify itself in the message, would help.

can confirm - removing CC eliminates the issue :D
Could the message be triggered by a outdated contract pack? Because I sure did have 1-2 old packs installed hoping they would behave.

It's a log message that I was using to debug something and meant to remove.  It's in a method that's used all over the place.  So other than the fact that it's spamming the log, it's harmless.  I've already removed it, and will be doing a new build sometime on the weekend, most likely.
