There isn't, but I could write one for you. As for Xen's collection, I don't know if it works... Eve's named is changed by the mod, but might still go as Eve in the code. Not sure though, I'll get testing soon, after I finish my Laythe base. :D

XPC only adds two moons to Eve, so presumably a simple patch could be written to make sure that they still orbit Villia if the name change does affect that.

XPC also changes the Eeloo system and the Duna system in similar ways, which is why I asked about being able to disable the other changes if wanted as they affect Duna and Eeloo (e.g. XPC already adds a Charon analogue to Eeloo, so another would be somewhat redundant).

Ok, so my current plan is:

  • Have all of the edited Eve features
  • Have XPC moons around it
  • Put Ike back around Duna

DO you want Gilly to remain as Demi? Or move that back to Eve too?

@SmashingKirby148 I think perhaps a better idea might be to have an individual config setting for each change. For example, have it togglable whether Eve gets shrunk and renamed, or have a toggle for whether Ike gets moved. That way people can make whichever changes are wanted without having to request a specific rewrite each time.

For my purposes I do need Gilly around Eve because XPC already adds a second (very small) moon to Duna (and actually the only changes that I want are to Eve itself). But again, I feel like it would be simpler in the long term to just add in the option to turn that on or off independently. XPC actually does something similar, there are the options to enable or disable various subsections of the mod (although I think they only go as far as being able to turn off all changes to a certain planet).

Hmmm... that might be out of my skill level actually. I can obviously make a version with only Eve modifications, but I'm not sure how to make toggleable options...

Ah right. I'm not much good at coding so I didn't know how difficult that would be. If you could make a version which only changes Eve though, that would be very much appreciated (most likely by some other people as well as myself).

Or maybe it's Duna. Because you know that you should be able to land on it but you always seem to fail...

It's like Squad designed Duna to mimic the "Mars Curse":

Quote

The high failure rate of missions launched from Earth attempting to explore Mars is informally called the "Mars Curse" or "Martian Curse". The phrase "Galactic Ghoul" or "Great Galactic Ghoul", referring to a fictitious space monster that subsists on a diet of Mars probes, was coined in 1997 by Time Magazine journalist Donald Neff, and is sometimes facetiously used to "explain" the recurring difficulties.

That been said, Mars (along with Saturn, Titan and Europa) are my favourite orbital bodies in the Solar System - outside of the Earth of course - so I'm quite fond of Duna.
