According to NASA it's violating the laws of physics

Careful when making statements like that. This is how information gets more wrong everytime it is repeated.

There is no proof, nor sound reason to believe, that it violates any existing laws of nature. The fact is plain and simple: nobody knows for sure how it produces thrust. Therefore, any statements about violating nature's laws are completely made up. Considering how robust our current set of natural laws is and how many tests it has survived, it is more likely that, once the mechanism of thrust production is discovered, it will turn out to be in agreement with the laws. The propability of refuting conservation of momentum is quite low ("Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" - Carl Sagan).

If you'd like to learn more and/or discuss this with others, I invite you over to the Science subforum, where there are several threads on the topic. :)

OK,,, "Current laws of physics" lol
In all reality of what we know of energy.. It simply shouldn't work.. lol

If nobody knows what you're doing, they can't tell you you're doing it wrong. In a way, the EM Drive is the same. Until we know what it is doing, we can't say it is doing it wrong. We don't want another N-ray scandal.
