PS4 - Anyone Seen an Asteroid?

Managed to meet up with an asteroid for the first time last night.  On approach looked like it was just in the shade, but turns out the entire thing was just pitch black.  Some sort of bug I imagine.  I tried going to the space center and then coming back - still just a dark outline of an asteroid with no asteroid visible.  Bumped into it and it seems to have the physical qualities but just lacking the visual.

Not a console player, so sorry I can't say anything specific, but I know that this happens in PC versions too and is a common bug.

Thanks for the response.  I'll give an update if I decide to meet up with another asteroid.

I did the training that includes grabbing an asteroid.  Same issue happened - asteroid was just a black void but had all the physical properties of one.

I actually brought it down to the mun's surface and epically ran out of fuel after a suicide burn just meters above the service.  Managed to land the asteroid and my ship in tact although completely out of fuel and monopropellant.  Moments like that make me sit back and go man.. this game is sick sometimes!
