Russian Translators, Need Your Help!

A little over a year ago. I bought a Buran Thermal Tile, which was great, but it also came with a sash of some sort with wording on it in Russian, and I can't make it out and google translate proved useless. Maybe someone from this community can read it?

If you mean the red thing with the word "Дружинник" [Druzhinnik], it's just an armband of Soviet-time citizens' street patrol ("narodnaya druzhina", "people's guard"), walking along the parks or large streets, stopping drunkards and bullies and calling police to get them.

Has no relation to space at all, just well-looking and with exotic letters.

(Unless you fly to Mars and become the first Martian druzhinnik, of course).

I'd have to ask her what she wrote to quote it exactly; But, it's something about her remembering these civilian policemen in the streets when she lived in Moscow (a long time ago). I had showed her the sash, and she knew immediately what it was.

It basically explains who they were and what they did. What it says*: In Soviet Union in Moscow, where I lived, Druzhiniks would walk around and check if everything is in order/people behaved well, it was very [don't know this word]. If somebody was causing trouble then Druzhiniks would call Militia, that's what Police were called back then. And so a Druzhinik was a valuable/good man.

I'm curious how the Buran tile feels. Is it lite, lighter than it should be for a block of (let's say sandstone) of the same size? Or is it heavier? Is it as smooth as it looks, or does it have a fine-sandpaper-y feel to it?

The shuttle tiles always felt strange to me.

I think it's удобно (convenient(-ly?)). Fits the sentence implication.

I think it's удобно (convenient(-ly?)). Fits the sentence implication. 

It's about 1.5lb total, and is slightly smoother than sandstone whilst retaining the grip. Sandpapery feel is a good term for it.
