Crashes after loading

Recommended Posts

After the game loads, it just crashes. Sometimes it gives me a crash report. Here is the one I have: http://www.mediafire.com/file/odz10an99y1oeva/error.log And here is the list of mods I use: Ferram Aerospace Research, Kerbal Alarm Clock, Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, Kopemicus Planetary System Modifier, KSC Switcher, ModularFlightIntegrator, Module Manager, Real Fuels, Real Solar System, RealChute Parachute System, RealHeat, Realism Overhaul, SmokeScreen - Extended FX Plugin, Solver Engines plugin, TriggerAu Flags. By the way, I am using an old version of KSP (1.13). Because Realism Overhaul doesn't work in the new one. Thanks!

Hi @thekerbal, we'll need more info on this, including your logs, so I suggest you take a look here first.

Try the things there, and if the issue persists please provide your output_log.txt

Thanks.

I don't know a lot about technical stuff, this might be a stupid question but where is the output log located? Sorry

It says right there on the link he sent you:

  1. The Logs
These are text files that the game spits out for debugging purposes as it runs; if something broke horribly in-game, there will be something in here about it. You should upload the entire log as a file (i.e. not to pastebin); you can use dropbox or an equivalent host to upload the file. Make sure the entire file gets uploaded; you may have to zip it first, as logs can be very long. Here is where you can find the log:
    • Windows: KSP_win\KSP_Data\output_log.txt (32bit) or KSP_win64\KSP_x64_Data\output_log.txt (64bit)
    • Mac OS X: Open Console, on the left side of the window there is a menu that says 'files'. Scroll down the list and find the Unity drop down, under Unity there will be Player.log ( Files>~/Library/Logs>Unity>Player.log )
    • Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Squad/Kerbal\ Space\ Program/Player.log

I read it but it isn't there

Is it perhaps hidden on your system? We know almost nothing of your PC so far, except that you are running the Windows version of KSP 32bit.

Your output log should be in the KSP_Data folder, if it isn't it suggests a permissions issue, which is unusual for Steam.

I found it, sorry: https://www.mediafire.com/?i913xhdumig67oj

Have you installed the latest module manager into 1.1.3? I ask this as it appears to be causing your issue.

As far as I know, MM 2.7.5 is for 1.2.1, not for 1.1.3 and should not be expected to work.

You'll have to remove it and try again.
