Mun Base 1

This is my first Mun base. All stock parts except for MechJeb which i used to get it into orbit.

It get\'s to roughly a 140km transfer orbit then to 40km orbit around Mun, there is plenty of fuel in the base itself for steering on the way down. I only used up the 2/6 fuel tanks sense there was some fuel left in the transfer-stage for a de-orbit burn.

I did a crew-replace earlier, Jebediah got to go home while Bob took over.

Seeing that crew module atop that lander, I\'m reminded of the Genie\'s line from Aladdin: 'INNNFINITE COSSSMIC POWERRRRR! Teeny weeny living space!'

I love how spidery the portable base looks. It\'s all LEMmy! (I just made a new word.)

The collision mesh on the Mk2 fuel tank in the center is so large Jebediah fell through and was trapped IN THE TANK! I have since given up on him and ended his flight as I needed his piloting skills, so just a word of warning. . . WEAK COLLISION MESHES
