Manuever sas buttons not working

I started a career game and just upgraded tracking station and mission control right away since not having all the nodes are annoying. Everytime I try to launch a plane or rocket the manuever buttons like prograde and retrograde will not show and idk why. Plz help I need me manuever buttons. :c

Hello to the forums! Are you sure your currently available probecores and/ or Kerbal pilots have the mentioned capabilitys? Check the parts description/pilot achievments.
Prograde and retrograde show up when the vessel is launched (staged and moving) if i remeber correctly... 
I'm sure your issue is easy solved...

It isnt working for even manned pods but how do I check crew achievements?

Go to the astronautcenter, Kerbal achievemnets are to the right Might have to hover above the Kerbal with the mousecursor....

The pilot needs to be 1 or more stars to have prograde/retrograde.

You need a level 1 pilot to have prograde and retrograde also you need a propeadobeadyne HECS at least to have those as well but it's pretty far up in the science tree. The sputnik has no SAS and the OKTO only has stability. Hope this helps.
