That’s most of their business model. Most of the smallsat market is for earth-observing sun-synchronous orbits, so the further from the equator they can launch, the better. tater
A US facility lets them pitch for US defense launches, many of which would want polar or inclined orbits, anyway. My bet is on Wallops.
MaverickSawyer
Same. It'd open up semi-inclined orbits, but without the hassle of the Cape.

Remote, restricted to polar/sun synchronous orbits, and I'm not sure you'd be able to reliably schedule a launch from there in the winter. But, it'd probably be cheaper to build and run a facility there, as there's basically no one else there on a regular basis. If I were making the call, I'd say LC-2 at Wallops, LC-3 (if needed) at Kodiak.

CatastrophicFailure
Interesting... so apparently the issue was with the second stage, if they had to take the whole thing apart and test fire it. That can’t be a trivial thing to do.

MaverickSawyer
Wallops as LC-2... Smart decision, imo. Fewer launches to conflict with for range access.
Ultimate Steve
Tim Dodd's tour of the Electron factory. Well worth a watch, although most of his interview with Peter Beck is patron-only (although it will be made public at a later date).
CatastrophicFailure
So, since no one else has... We have a date again! Also: I really wonder how borked the original thingamajig was that led to the whole rocket being disassembled. It almost sounds like they needed a whole new booster.
