Just install it as standard and trigger on touchdown for now. LOL, just like the old Ford Crown Vic police cars

Maybe its better to have any leak (intentional or not) burn off instead of having the chance to accumulate, at least for now. They will have to think of something clever to detank Starship safely in the future.

Brotoro
It was weird yesterday when my News app popped up a story about a Falcon 9 landing failure. Whaaaat?? Oh...it was an article from 2016. Weird. But it was interesting to see how the article was going on about all the problems SpaceX was having landing the Falcon 9 booster, and how they might not get it to work reliably. Haha. 7 minutes ago, Scotius said: Wow. Perfect coverage of the landing! It's funny how the barge lost signal, while landing rocket did not They should rename it Of Course I Still Lose Your Signal. tater
15 launches this year so far. That's as many as ULA has done since mid 2018. That's as many as Arianespace has done since Oct 2018 not counting Soyuz (nearly half their launches are Soyuz), else 2019.

But SpaceX does mostly commercial launches while the others are contractors for space agencies and militaries. So hopefully spacex launched more than them. A fair comparison would be between SpaceX and Rocketlab.
