[Solved] Galileo's Planet Pack Help

Recommended Posts

So I've installed a fresh version of KSP 1.2.2, ran it in x64 with no mods, and copied the content's of the ZIP archive from Galileo's Planet Pack 1.2.3 (GameData > GPP/Kopernicus/MFI/MM 2.7.6) to my KSP GameData folder and then loaded up KSP x64. The game then loads to the main menu, yet Kerbin is still showing in the background, along with when I try to start a new game (brand new) it just sits at the loading screen with the rotating planets in the bottom right.

A few things I've also noticed: Whenever I've launched the game, and it get's stuck at the "Infinite Loading Screen" after the main menu, I then close the game, and I then verify the game file integrity and it always shows that 1 file failed to verify, and proceeds to re-install it. I have also removed the GPP specific folder and replaced it with just OPM and that loaded the game to the KSC just fine.

Thanks for any help/tips.

I'm having the same issue. I've got 32 gigs of ram, a 1070, and a 6700k i7.

Edit: Did you download and install the textures as well? I just realized that I hadn't. Now that I have it works just fine.

Same here. Now if only i can figure out the 10.6x config and sigma

I'l walk you through it. I'm assuming you have regular GPP installed correctly.

  1. Download the latest release from https://github.com/Sigma88/Sigma-Dimensions/releases/latest.
  2. Install it (should end up as KSPfolder/GameData/Sigma/Dimensions/a bunch of stuff).
  3. Two options for getting the rescale config
    1. If you still have the GPP download files on your computer, go to Optional Mods/Rescale! and take the file named 10.625X.cfg
    2. Go to https://github.com/Galileo88/Galileos-Planet-Pack/blob/1.2.3/Optional Mods/Rescale!/10.625X.cfg and copy the whole file into a plain text file on your computer, then rename it to 10.625X.cfg.
  4. Put that file anywhere within KSPfolder/GameData

I appreciate the help.

I did all that but copying it. It ends up just hanging on the load screen after starting new game.

I've put the .cfg file in GameData, GPP, and Sigma. Only load hangs.

In turn I decided to ditch the rescale and play at OE scale and... I have no clouds ( GameData/GPP/GPP_Clouds). And I do have EVE. Not the EVE.config.

I'm not necessarily new to modding but usually I use a Mod Manager. Just keeps things simple. Drag and drop should be simple but so far.... Not so much.
