Very well done model and video! Welcome to the forums.

As EVA_Reentry mentioned, I've made replicas of almost every lifting body NASA tested (with the exception of the X-24B, made by qzgy) in the X-plane of the day thread (link in my signature). However, they really suffered in performance since they were all either upowered or rocket powered. Yours seems to be a much more functional model to fly around. Great work!

Liftong body craft are easy. Mk 2 fuselages all generate lift.

I like how smooth everything is. Nice!

The X-24B replica I made wan't practical. I felt it was way too draggy.

Still, this is a solid craft with a nice video.

And yes, I've found that any craft made out of elevons doesn't fly particularly fast or well. I maybe hit 50 m/s in a steep glide with my HL-10. 

There's a reason that NASA used so much data from lifting bodies on the shuttle - they both fly like bricks.

Nobody is claiming this is an amazing aircraft, I attempted to make the video more informational in the v2.

This small profile hull is just what I was looking for. Built a fighter out of it.

Some changes:

• Moved cockpit backwards to shift CoL back a bit
• Swept the Elevons forward to cancel yaw from aileron drag while pitching
• Changed engine to Panther
• Added BD Armory stuff

Anyone want to take it on? It's made for BD Armory's competition mode, and beats the Bo-Shuriken by Inter's Odyssey more than 90% of the time.

I like what you did there, haven't seen anyone create a fighter like that before.

Thanks, I did my best to make the video and transitions smooth but I think I could of done a better job. I must say the X-24B replica you made was superb.
