Mysterious thing found on mun!!!

Hi everyone,

I just tried to land on the mun and crashed. And my Kerbonaut died by flying to this thing. But on a mountain not far away from my landing place a mysterious thing, witch looks like a statue was founded by me. I can´t attach pictures (Don´t ask me why??? o_O) so I´ve uploded them on Skydrive.

Has anybody seen this thing from a better position? I have not the skills to land ther exacly ones more. So I regard your photos.

Hi kerbalfisch, what you have found there is a Monotith, an easter egg, and they have been in KSP since 0.14

Try searching the forums for Easter Eggs to find out more

There are a few Easter Eggs on the planetary bodies of the Kerbol system. You've probably located one of the Munoliths. Search the forums and you will find many photos and even some coordinates to the various items hidden on the surface.

No need to apologize kerbalfisch, the Arches are pretty impressive when you first see them, and there are other things to find too, I let slip there were Monoliths but I didn't say where (or what planet) and those two things are not the only things out there

There is at least a second arch on the Mun, which is apparently positioned just so so that a hot dog pilot could set up an orbit transecting both arches. That info alone should help you determine where the second one is. Have fun exploring!

The Mun arch on the second picture does look a bit like Slender Man from the game Slender.

Sorry for the wait, itll be about another 10 minutes, the kerbals of the first rocket forget to fuel up the lander stage and had to relaunch...... dont ask what happened to the first launch.

A second Mun arch, eh? I wonder if it's possible to arrange a low orbit going through both. Most likely not, but that would be sweet!

If at all possible, it would need an almost perfect bullseye (minor corrections allowed), but even then, it would only work once, as the orbit plane would rotate around the Mun.

There's actually a third one, but it's underground.

And Cykyrios, it has been done, just not through both.
