This may come as a strange request, but would you be willing to try the flag of the Georgian SSR?

I like the look of the blue and red contrasting, and feel free to remove the Hammer and Sickle if you desire.

And the last one is Alaska! I initially wanted to troll you with the Russian flag, but thought it will be too political.

So i did this:

Changed Big Dipper to a purple aurora.

The color of aurora can differ depending on which city you live in!
