This is the Saturn V i was able to make. Only difference is that it doesn't have the escape tower (because I didn't like it). You can add that if you want.

From the looks of stage 9 it seems that you those engines ate alot of fuel and overheat rather quickly.

they only overheat quickly if you don't control the throttle.. just set it to 3/4 throttle and they won't overheat.. its more than enough to get into kspace..

If it takes over a minute to reach a simple 4km, the first stage isn't really worth the weight.

Then again additional support of engines/SRB's should be added in the first place... >_<
