sneezedr424
Hey guys I'm kind of stuck. I get in a decent orbit round the moon, go in for a landing, and either burn too long, or too short, and I either explode (more often than not), or get frustrated from almost-lands, and give up. Any pointers?
pebble_garden
Am I correct in thinking you meant "TARDIS"?

sal_vager
I have to say sneezedr, I have never used that mod so can only be of some help, when orbiting the Mun, try to get your periapsis to about 15km, then when at the bottom of your orbit, do your deorbit burn and landing, that way you'll not waste too much fuel descending to the surface. Zephram Kerman
Assuming it's the same TARDIS I used a some months ago, it is basically extremely powerful and fuel-efficient. So it's good for getting around to explore if your ships aren't capable yet. The down side of that powerful engine is it's very hard to control the throttle for hovering and landing.Try it again with a well-built stock lander, and you might have an easier time. Alternatively, maybe slap some RCS thrusters and fuel on the TARDIS for fine control?
sneezedr424
Thanks for the welcome, and title correction. I'm still using the demo, hopefully I'll have the bought version by tomorrow (part of me fears computer lag).
