Telescope Mods

Hi. Does anyone knows of a telescope mod that allows us to view planetary surface, from orbit, in variable detail (zoom in, zoom out)? I know that SCANsat allows us to build topographic maps of the surface, but what I would like would be to view as if I was, say, low flying over ground, when on a satellite orbiting the planet. Like a HiRes Spy Camera does in the real world.

I know that there are telescopes as experiments, but I don't think any of them functions as an optical telescope.

Dunno if any of these are what you're looking for, but there's a dev thread and a release thread for Cacteye Optics. There's also Research Bodies and Tarsier Space Technologies. Most seem to be about looking at the planet as a whole from say your home planet, but I don't use them, so I don't know if one has the ability to look even closer. They are really cool in that they give real-ish space telescope abilities to your program.

I vaguely remember there being one a long time ago, but it might just me remembering incorrectly.

Hullcam VDS has two telescopes with more-than-decent levels of zoom.
