Max temp. of a Kerbal

Is it known what the actual heat tolerance of Kerbals themselves is?

I seem to vaguely recall something like 700K/1000K internal/external from... nowhere, so I'm probably making it up.

The kerbalEVA part has a maxTemp and skinMaxTemp of 800 as of KSP 1.3.1. I'm assuming this is in Kelvin, since many other parts have a heat tolerance of 2000 K and their maxTemp values are 2000.
