I just installed this after getting back into the game after a very long hiatus. I have a fresh install of KSP on Steam, using version 1.9.2. None of my reactors besides the green fission reactor are producing any decent amount of power. When I try to run a thermal turbojet on the magnetized target fusion reactor it doesn't produce even a single kN of thrust, it just says reactor heating insufficient, reduce load blah blah. I did some searching and found the thing about near future electrical, but I never even installed that mod! I don't know what's going on that would cause this to happen.

@nonono The only way to get this effect is if you install the mod somehow on the wrong location. THe WArpPlugin folder need to be put inside the GameData folder

I went to make sure it was in the right spot and it most certainly was. I even reinstalled the mod after deleting the warp plugin folder and I still get that issue.

I completely reinstalled the game, deleting all the mods I had in the game data folder so I'm back to a clean installation. I installed tweak scale, heat control, and KSPIE, I am still getting the issue where reactors aren't doing anything like they are supposed to.

Still not sure how to provide the logs you need. Been tinkering with some things in the meantime, even the fission reactors don't work right. Radiators from the mod don't radiate any heat at all but ones from other mods do. I haven't a clue what's going on.

I went reading the log file myself hoping to find something that might clue me in, it kept referencing that community resource pack could not make configuration files for "part". I discovered that the version I had was very old. I guess one of the sites that hosts files is known for having out of date stuff (Kurse I think?) I updated to the correct version and this solved the problem.

I think I have found a bug with the Radial Cryogenic Liquid Fuel Tank X11 that causes phantom acceleration and/or spontaneous disassembly of the craft. 

To recreate: 1. Clean install with only KSPI and hyperedit.

2. Build this ship and tweakscale the X11 to a larger size (decreasing size was not tested).  You MUST tweakscale the X11 for the bug to appear... the standard size appears to work normally.

3. hyperedit into orbit

4.  either burn fuel or use hyperedit to reduce the amount of LH2.  

Using hyperedit to reduce the fuel to 0 causes the command pod to rocket off into space at the speed of light.

I discovered the bug in my main game which has 50+ mods in it.  My ship in that version has several X11s of different sizes and most of my troubleshooting actually happened with that ship.  It appears that once a tweakscaled X11 has it's fuel reduced to about 50%, the phantom forces appear.  The closer to 0 it gets, the greater the acceleration.  It also appeared that the effect is amplified when the X11 is tweakscaled to larger and larger sizes.  Rapidly emptying many scaled X11s is a down and dirty way to exceed the speed of light haha.

How does one make the Magnetic Nozzle work?  I've got it attached to a reactor which produces charged particles (Tokomak or Stellarator), lots of power and heat sinks, and it's in orbit of Mun.  I notice a few things:

1. When picking it up in the VAB to put on my ship, there's an exception thrown.
2. When throttled up, the engine 'Status' line seems to flicker between 'Nominal' and 'Too dense atmosphere'.
3. The engine animates, but does not produce thrust (warp or non-warp).

Can someone point me to a discussion thread, if any, where extracting water from the ocean is discussed? I have a floating base with an ISRU and a Drill-O-Matic drill mounted at the bottom of that base and therefore is underwater. But I can't get either of them to collect water or mine it. The option for Ocean extraction is grayed out, and the drill wont mine because there is no surface contact. There is a ventral water pump from USI I can use just for water collection. Is there a KSPI water/liquid intake part?

Hi pp3d,

I ran into this problem as well.  Docs are very out of date.  What you seem to need is a standard air intake (e.g. circular intake) below water level.  On my vessel I put it in a cargo bay which I opened once it was underwater (so it wouldn't explode on impact).

And it will collect liquid? interesting... i would never have guess.... I will try it.. thanks...

Hey,

Can somebody giove me some advice. I just started building my beamed power relay, and my station gives out about 25 GW of power to my surrounding relays around Kerbin. My relays are Sphere phased arrays and only seem to relay 5 GW of the total power from my station. Is there a way to make my relays give out the total power from my station??

If you just want powerful engines, you would be better off using the karborundum torch drives from the Karbonite mod

ok this is probably tweakscale's fault and it might apply to more things but I'm having some weird mass readouts when tweaking the size of the inline thermal receiver. to reproduce, in VAB place mk2 probe core, then thermoelectric generator, inline thermal receiver 2x (the long one) then tweak the size of the receiver up and down.the vessel readout in the bottom left and the engineer's report in the bottom right both say different things and it all seems really wonky and wrong

Is it possible that the thermelectric generator is throwing things off?  I believe it changes its weight according to the heat source it is next to.

There is something wrong with the TORY Ramjet internal atmospheric intake. IntakeAtm always falls immediately to zero and stays there, independent of velocity. Using an external intake I can launch unassisted using only the ramjet, and IntakeAtm is stable. The problem appeared recently after upgrading KSP and Interstellar mod from 1.3.1 to 1.4.3.

I noticed this as well.  I think it occurred around the time of the 1.4 upgrade.
