sal_vager
Hi ouion, you need to edit your persistence.sfs, notepad can do this, just find the "state" value and change it to
hubbazoot
Without editing your persistence file, you need to make sure you keep your velocity down when re-uniting with the ground. If you're landing on the runway with landing gear, you can get away with just about any speed so long as you keep going straight down the runway until you stop. If you're coming in as just a drop to the ground your touchdown speed needs to be less than 8m/s, and the slower the better.Generally, when I'm coming in from orbit, I can use a parachute to bring down a large load by using it as a braking assist and then using the engines to burn off whatever extra speed I have until I get down to touchdown speed. Serratus
One more way is to be patient. Eventually they all re-appear in game, all on their own (the new clone grows of age)...
sal_vager
bads does not affect their live/dead status, "state" does that, 0 is ready to be chosen as crew, 1 is in flight, 2 i don't remember, 3 is dead.
Endeavour
One more way is to be patient. Eventually they all re-appear in game, all on their own (the new clone grows of age)...Does this work for any name, or just Bill, Bob, and Jeb?
Serratus
All of them AFAIK. The main trio is just another name in the queue to be chosen. You just need to murder enough kerbals and the clones will show up when the pool name dry out
sal_vager
This works for all deceased Kerbals, you can even have multiple identical crews if you reset to

hubbazoot
The main trio is just another name in the queue to be chosen. They do seem to have priority on the list, though, which I'm okay with...most of the time. It'll be nice if/when we can pick what crew we want.
