Can't click anything in main menu

So I launched up Kerbal Space Program and everything was working as normal. As soon as the main menu loaded up I tried to click 'Start Game', nothing happens. I can hover over the buttons and they change color but when I attempt to click them nothing happens.

Fullscreen or windowed? Have similar problem in windowed mode, switching from maximized state and back fixes it.

No worries man, this problem randomly fixed itself a couple of minutes ago when I launched the game. I've re-launched and it has worked flawlessly multiple times now. No clue what caused this or if it will come back but thanks for the help anyway.

You will notice that the menu buttons kinda slide in at the start. Occasionally they seem to get stuck if you mess with them before that. As you mentioned, re launching fixes.

I'm not sure if the debug menu is available in the main menu, bt if you alt-f12, and look for "Input Locks", click the "clear locks" button.  This will usually release a 'stuck' mouse or control.

I have the same problem, but when I clicked clear input locks, it did nothing when I tried it again. I haven't been able to play ksp ever since 1.8.1 came out.

same here,  i cant get my ksp past the main menu

The mod that is doing it is Kerbal joint reinforcement
