Veteran seeking help

hullo!

So Im a veteran KSP player and I havent played KSP in about 3 years, I'm starting to get back into it but there's a lot of different things and I'm not sure how to use all the controls. I was trying to rescue jebediah (it's been a while XD) anyways, i didn't know how to make it set a burn. Please help me and give me a veterans guide if you have one.

Three years ago we were in beta, so besides communication and aerodynamics, not much changed.

Unless it's more than three years, but to be honest, maneuvering and orbital mechanics didn't change since very early alpha.

Are you talking about making a manoeuver node? If you’re in career mode, make sure your tracking station is upgraded so you have patched conics (level 2)
