Engine not shown?!

Recommended Posts

After trying to build an SSTO today, I noticed that the rapier engine is completely missing. I can't find it in the SPH, nor the VAB, not even if I look at the tech tree. The engine icon under available part of the node "Aerospace Tech" is completely empty. C0aCnur.png

Any idea what could have gone wrong/How I can fix it?

Edit: I' using mechjeb, kerbal alarm clock and Kerbal engineer.

Edit2: I solved the problem: Along time ago I tried to mess around with the thrust values of the rapier (but didn't trust myself to edit anything in the end) and apparently didn't change the .txt file back to .cfg but to .cfc

Mod list?

Does the part appear in the Game Data / Squad files?

I'm using mechjeb, triggertech and Kerbal engineer.

It does show up in GameData/Squad/engines and it has rapier.mu, rapierEngine.cfc, rapierDiffuse.dds and rapieremit.dss, with the latter two being some kind of images.

Check the log file after loading the game to see if it's throwing any errors trying to load those assets.  Open the log file and search for those filenames.    I'm not familiar enough with the logs to give any specifics though.  If it's loading, it's in the game somewhere.....

I checked and it isn't throwing any errors, only when it tried to load kerbal engineer it did, so i deleted the mod, but nothing changed.
